Pleasant

The room was close to the city center in a nice area. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean.

The fire alarm went of at night and wouldn’t stop for hours. It was very heard to find our room (1008) because there was not sign from the outside telling us where is it located, unlike the other rooms. The bathroom was very small, but it was okey.

Okay, but could be improved upon.

Easy to get to from central station. Five beds. Towels provided. Very warm. Shower hot (although we ran out of hot water the second morning). Pots and pans for cooking, kettle, toaster, microwave (although too small to fit dinner plates).

For a five-bedroom apartment, the kitchen supplies are woefully lacking. One bowl, three side plates, four dinner plates. Cooking utensils were worse! One spoon, two knives, and a milk frother. Curtains didn’t cover all the windows, so a blind had been installed on half of one of them. Lighting very dim.

Was pretty close to museums and such, along with the subway.

Room smelt perpetually of cigarette smoke (neither of us smoke) and the shower stall was a bit leaky and didnt quite drain properly

We read many bad reviews from this place, but everything went well for us. Beds were cosy, the small kitchen was functional, the apartment was quiet. It's ideally located, I recommend it !

It’s a budget friendly accommodation for Oslo. I may consider coming back to stay but I will explore other options too.

The location is good. It’s only 5 minutes from Toyen station. The apartment is on the hillside of a residential area. There are nice cafe near the church. It is quiet, too.

I stayed in room 138a for a week. The refrigerator is noisy if I keep it on at cool mark #3 or above. That means if I want the refrigerator to be quiet, it is not cool.

A comfortable stay not far from the city centre provided you have an entire apartment to yourself.

We had the entire apartment that could accommodate 6 pax for us 4 and that made it a comfortable stay as one bedroom one out of the three could be used for our bags. Else it would have been very difficult given that the apartment rooms do not have much space besides the essential furniture in them. The non-personal checkin process can be cumbersome especially when all guests arrive at the same time. We were third in line and the guest was having difficulty on the phone - accents don’t help. Luckily, a staff came and called us into an office and then checked us in personally and swiftly. The apartment is small but comfortable with all amenities as posted. It had a washing machine too which was not posted and we did not use. There are quite a few utensils provided and we did not need to rent more.

There was no electrical plug point at the kitchen counter to use the electric kettle there. The lighting over the kitchen area needs improvement. It would be nice if a toaster was also provided. A bath mat should also be provided.

The check in is contactless and has a big parking.The room was clean also the sheets and towels were freshly clean.There was a heater that you can adjust the temperature to your liking.

When you go to check in it is mandatory to pay a deposit of 2000NOK for damage that was not mentioned in the booking description and reservation. If you don't pay the deposit you can not check in your room that you paid previously. We paid and got the deposit back the same day that we checked out.

It was a peaceful one!

Walkable distance to the city centre. Like the fact that the hotel sends notification on how best to get there. Like the idea of self check-in .

Quiet comfortable stay in great location.

Cosy and simple. Easy access to metro and buses. Fridge for drinks and storage. Great shower. Extra heating if wanted.

No lights near bed. Bed was under eaves which meant hitting head when getting in and around the bed was a problem. The room had a lot of wasted space by the design which could have been used better say for a small table and desk area. No sockets near bed for charging phones and spare batteries. No extra towels (only two provided over 4 days) but this was actually ok for me solo traveling. The snow and ice and freezing and thawing meant the paths and car park were very icy and slippery and grit didn’t seem to get rid but hear they choose not to use salt any longer for ecological reasons.

You get what you pay for

The location was fantastic,really close to the Toyen metro line and a shop,cafe and bar just around the corner. It's great value for money,you get what you pay for,and the beds were super comfy. Bonus was the towels and toiletries provided.

When we arrived,gone 1am, it didn't feel very safe (solo travellers or families with young children arrive early,although in the light of day it was and had been perfectly safe). The room we had been given hadn't been cleaned,beds had been slept in and towels used. We went back to telephone reception (not physical person) and explained and were instantly changed rooms,the next room was perfect (but what if another room hadn't been available?!)
